Differential Equations Problem Your Help Will be Much Appreciate it Q. Find an Interval around x=0 for which the IVP (x-1)y''+1/(9-x^2)y'+(x+2)^(1/2)y=sin(x) has a unique solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it advance differential equation ?

University Level (Engineering Major)

even computer can't solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not suppose to solve it! i just have to find the interval where it has a unique solution! as i know it is more important to know that there is a solution on this interval than knowing it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am thinking of the interval where this diff. equation is solvable, but I am not sure if it has to do anything with the radius of convergence. dam lol, I don't know... what book did you get this question from? and what section? are you studying about forbinous method and tyler seriers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually i got this one from my exam revision sheet, and it has nothing to do with what you mentioned. it is just a separate idea called "uniqueness of a solution" and i dont understand the whole idea.

ok i have another question so i am going to close this one. thank you anyway :)
