Is statement 1 2(AB) + CD = 12 or 2(AB + CD) = 12????????????????????????????? If it is 2(AB) + CD = 12 (as stated in your question), you cannot divide. Division gives you AB + CD/2 = 6 (not AB + CD = 6). medal will WELCOMED!
