A main water pipe burst beneath a driveway and water was running out of the pipe at a rate of 1.4 quarts per second. At this rate, how many gallons of water would be lost in an hour? I used a conversion program online and the answer is 157.5 gal/hr. My question is how do you set up the equation to arrive at that answer?

Compute the quarts/ hour and then divide the result by 4, the number of quarts per gallon, to yield the number of gallons per hour.\[\frac{1.4 *3600}{4}=1260 \text{ gal}/\text{hr}\]

Thank You, that is what i got.
