Evaluate integral

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits_{2}^{-1}(3x^2-4x)dx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know I can type this into my calc, I just don't know how

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

hmm have you discussed integration by parts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, consider me a clean slate. my teacher is awful

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope u dont need inetegration by parts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you dont need to do integration by parts but rather you can do it directly but notice that we are integrating 3x^2 -4x from -1 and 2 notice we cant integrate it we have to flip our numbers and add a negative sign to our function so we are doing -(3x^2 -4x_ from -1 and 2 i will draw it
