4 & 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the indicated measure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u want the measure of the angle B if so it is 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4. 32 6. 24 do u want explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! @thushananth01

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the 4 th one...the chord goes trough the centre...so the radius is equal in a circle...then that makes an isosceles triangle...u can directly say it is 32 6th one...the line does not go trough the centre...so u gotta do some calculation...u know that (vertically opp angle are equal) so u take 124 to the next triangle so set up an equation if u want B+124+32= 180(sum of a triangle) solve it u get 24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thushananth01 Wait, I'm still confused with 24.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean number 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why wts wrong...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just don't understand how you got 24.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah lol...sorry..it 34 coz its equal...i thought it ws the question 6...yes it is 34 ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okayy, so how'd you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u know the letter Z it has two angles and they are equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u take triangle DCO (o=centre) the angle 32 is equal to the that of the next triangle (the angle subtended by an arc in the same segment of a circle is equal) and as i said it is is isosceles B will be equal to 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain 6? @thushananth01

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertically opposite angles are equal...so the 124 angle is equal oppositely in the other triangle...then u know a triangle add upto 180 then subtract 34 and 124 from 180, u get the angle B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're not trying to get angle, you're trying to find the arc..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they hvnt gven any side...chck if ur question s right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if you look back on the question I posted, it says arc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok wt does that 128 angle represent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The arc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What math are you learning at the moment?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will be afk for a second.
