what is the measure in degrees of an interior angle in a regular triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since it's a regular triangle, this means all angles are equal in measure. so it's 60 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u so much :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i have another question, what would be the degree for a regular quadrilateral?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what a quadrilateral is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and how many interior angles it has?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i do know what a quadrilateral is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how many angles does it have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good. the sum of all the angles in a quadrilateral is .... ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know that one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it was 90 degrees considering there all right angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's the answer to your question. but the answer to my question is 360 degrees. but since this is a regular quadrilateral, all angles must be the same so 360/4 = 90. don't treat math as remembering a bunch of formulas and such. if you do that, it will be hard. it is about thinking things through and making sound conclusions...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your right thank-you and I forgot about the 360/4.
