10^1=x+2 if i remember correct
is this log base 10
it doesnt say i saw something about that in the book but i didnt know when to use it. so because there is no base i use 10 right?

dont do anything with it. 10 is implied base for logs if nothing is there, e goes with natural logs see my first reply for what you need to do in this problem
