excuse me, but if two numbers are enclosed in parentheses, next to each other does this mean to multiply them, it looks like this (-1)(-2) or what does it mean, also, could some explain to me what it means when there's an equation enclosed by brackets, kinda looks like this {3t+-(2)} so does the one in parentheses goes first or what?

To answer your first question, yes. Any time you see something written next to a parenthesis and there is no operation like +,-,/ or anything written, it's assumed they are multiplied. To answer your second question {} and [] are often used simply as parenthesis to make it more obvious which parenthesis are paired in a problem when you have more than one set. There's no difference between the two kinds. It's just supposed to make it easier to read.
