is y=2x and x+y=0 infinite or no solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@krissywatts I have a solution.---> (0,0) Substitute in both the equations and it satisfies both. Hence solution of the system of equations exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you substitute first with second equation or viceversa you get 0 so its no solution cause in both ways you get 0/3 =0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kryten , both the lines intersect at (0,0) and hence they have a solution http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=Plot+x%2By%3D0+and+++y%3D2x
