Sarla made a drawing of a geometric figure for a fabric print. The figure was a quadrilateral with a pair of angles measuring 60° each. If the figure she drew is a concave polygon, which of these could be the measures of the other two angles? 30°, 210° 100°, 140° 160°, 80° 20°, 240°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what concave means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes a polygon that has at least one vertex pointing toward the center; the measure of the angle created by that vertex will be greater than 180 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the remaining angles have total to what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since two angles are 60 the remaining two have to total to what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nooo WAIt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

240

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.. the sum of the interior angles in a quadrilateral is 360...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes... 240

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whoot whoot im smart lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks you .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your fixing my brain=) & i think its the 2nd one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100 & 140

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you draw a 4 sided figure thats concave and have those angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummmmm..... no? i thnk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't think so either... so it's not that one...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its the first one 30 & 210

OpenStudy (anonymous):

si its the third one .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thnk you very much . i have to go ill ba back wen i get back . thanks super yu were much help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry @Cemantha, you're answer of 30 & 210 is correct... I was thinking that one of the other angles was already the vertex that concave... see? remember what you're mom said? trust yourself... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you very much . you were much help and luckily i didnt put in the test yet i js left it there while i went to the store.
