the domain of f+g is (-infinity,+infinity) f+g simplified is 2*x^2-12*x+18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats * mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f-g is 2*x^2-14*x+24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

* means multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the domain of f-g should aslo be (-infinity,+infinity) I think but i dont see it in the screen shot :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its there look at the second picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see the secong pic now :) f/g is 2*x-7 I am pretty sure it simplifies to that and be careful with division by zero in other words in denominator x cannot equal 3 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know (fg)*x=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on i'll get it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if you factor it it is (x-3)^2*(2*x-7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain is infinity to infnity also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about the domain for f/g please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wiat for fg i think it is 2*x^3-19*x^2+60*x-63 domain of f/g is the second one the second choice the one with the U
