OpenStudy (anonymous):

i see how u get everything else but idk how to get 66.

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

You sum the area of the rectangle there which is \(6\cdot8=48\) to the area of the triangle on top which is \(1/2 \cdot 6\cdot(14-8)=3\cdot6=18\). Thus, \(48+18=66\) is the area of that region.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty for explaining i'm going to write that down to rem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KingGeorge where did the 3 come from?

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

\[{1 \over 2}\cdot6=3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):
