It seems to me that these symptoms are the body's natural response to pathogens...I'd tentatively go with D. Bacteria could certainly cause the body to react this way in an attempt to fight the infection off. Through process of elimination, A. doesn't make sense because the bacterial infection is regressing, or getting weaker (if that's what it means). B. is trickier, but I don't think antibiotic resistance is the causative agent behind such a reaction - pathogens are. As for C, antibiotics usually shouldn't cause such a reaction. Hopefully that helps, though I apologize that I can't offer you a more detailed response.
