Forgive all the shameless Physics questions. D: However, I do have another question regarding friction... How do I solve for friction using the graphical method? For example, if a 50N rock rests on a 30 degree slope?

You can draw a nice picture of the rock, including the gravitational force. Since the rock is at rest (assuming that it is), the net force of the rock would be 0. Which (two) forces would counter gravity? And how would you draw them inside the picture? |dw:1336737462381:dw|
