correct

Alright, so in order to get rid of a "e" you have to talk the natural log of (just like adding is the opposite of subtracting). so you take the natural log of "e" and the exponents come down. adding 5 to the other side makes it easier. after taking the ln its just simple math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lne = 1 thats how lne disappeared

sorry dont get it i have 2x-3=ln5????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lne(2x-3)=ln(5) = 2x(lne) - (3lne)=ln(5) = 2x(1)-3(1)=ln(5) =2x-3=ln(5)
