Please describe a beautiful person's features?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Long flow-y dirty blonde hair in a fishtail braid, light blue eyes, high cheekbones. something like that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, but I was looking for something more descriptive. With metaphors, similes, and a lot more optical, you know? I've noticed all great writers incorporate them into their work.

Okay, how about this. She was beautiful. The way the light hit her, her dirty blonde hair seemed to glow. she had bright blue almond shaped eyes that seemed to laugh. She had high cheekbones and a wide smile with the most perfect straight teeth. She had a hourglass figure and beautiful clothes that weren't too snug, but fit perfectly.

Beautiful thank you! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. :)

Be authentic. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Think of someone that YOU find beautiful. It could be someone, not for whom you yearn, but someone who's like a ray of sunshine in class.

OpenStudy (april115):

well for me a beautiful person is not just for the looks. (some of it) but its more on the inside than the outside.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't worry about looks I focus on personality and actions they perform but if I did have a certain feature it would be the eyes because they reveal everything at certain points in time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for answering! I do understand where you are coming from. Inner beauty is the most attractive beauty of them all. I'm not looking for ideal perfection nor am I disregarding the importance of personality. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it varies for everyone which is why I asked the question. I want examples of description because that's something I lack as a writer. Can someone write a few metaphors and similes describing a person's features? Envisioning a very descriptive, optical illusion is what I'm after.

She ran with her flowing blonde hair rushing in the wind like a dove swishing through the clouds on a warm, sunny day. She seeked attention, but also a sense of pride, her make up perfectly drawn on her flawless skin, the freckles on her cheeks boldly stood below her bright, oceanic blue eyes. The wrinkles in her clothing brought out the thin, crucially awesome body she had worked diligently on for so long. Everything about her was shown to the human eye, like the sun, shining bright and hot, beaming down and burning every living cell in the eyes of the spectators that watched.

I believe that beauty is a figment of our imaginations. The true beauty cant be seen, but it can be felt. Beauty isn't in the eye of the beholder, it's in the heart.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is exceptional! Thank you @Ibanez55LesPaul and very pure @swimmergirl Can anyone describe a nose without using the word pointy, a chin without using the word chiseled? I love Suzanne Collin's work and I think what makes her so amazing is her ability to describe :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Upturned or button can be used to descripe a person's nose and I'm not sure about chin, you could just say smooth or feminine. I, for example think of a more masculine chin or face when I cear someone say chiseled even though that's not always true.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one is easy, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So i would say a persond eyes, their smile, and the way the laugh.
