refernce angle for pi/3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi/3 is already in the first quadrant so it's reference angle is itself... a reference angle is an angle between 0 and pi/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, but it has choices like 2pi/3 and 15pi/3 and 19pi/3 and 7pi/3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that can't be because a reference angle is between 0 and pi/2...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or are those choices one of the angle that has pi/3 as a reference angle...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

boy... that was a long time to answer the question huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer would be 7pi/3 because 7pi/3 = 6pi/3 + pi/3 6pi/3 = 2pi which is just a full rotation. what's left is pi/3, your reference angle... :)

ohh thank you :D
