Use the unit circle to find sin 150??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have the unit circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

150 or 150 degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dpaInc no I do not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take a look at page 3 here: sin (any angle) refers to the y-coordinate of the corresponding point for that angle. http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/pdf/Trig_Cheat_Sheet.pdf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what's the y-coordinate that corresponds with 150 degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep... sin(150) = 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry serious typo. I shall repost.

How do I get to a chalk board on this thing. I can't cut and paste from my own notebook.
