Use the distance formula to fine the distance between this pair of points, (3,7), (7,7). HELP ME PLEASSEEEEEEE!!

Distance between two points (x,y0 and (x',y') is \[\sqrt{(x-x')^2 + (y-y')^2}\]
But how do i show it like that Apoorvk?
though here, you don't really need that - as pfenn's graph shows. (or you could think analytically) both points have the same 'y' value, that is both are at the same height - so the distance between them would only be the difference of their x-coordinates.
Okay i get it! Thank you!
just substitute the values of x, x', y, y' in the equation - you have the two points don't you?
No sir or ma'am i do not.
you don't have two point??? what are you saying? you have (3,7) and (7,) - what are they doin' - sitting around?
Well it's a worksheet and thats all thats on there. It looks like pfeen1's graph.
What is the distance between (9,2), (10,4)?
You have two points. i gave you the formula for finding the distance between two points. (forget the analytical method for the moment) - now just substitute the value of the points in the equation, and calculate!!
Well poop on you Mr.!
Distance between two points (x,y) and (x',y') is \[\sqrt{(x-x')^2 + (y-y')^2}\] Do't test my patience. And don't make me report you.
