i just want to say that openstudy is awesome!!! it helped me learn calculus from scratch (special thanks to @TuringTest @apoorvk and @amistre64 and @mimi_x3 ^_^) originally i came to this site to test my math abilities...i ended up learning as well..for that this site is awesome beyond words :D
Yay! Go you!
i forgot to thank @myininaya as well ^_^
Awww...It is okay. I always pretend the thanks is understood even without it being said.
yeah...thanks to myininaya is implicit and automatic already :p
Awesome to hear! And thanks for being an active and super-helpful user to others to boot!
heh just paying it forward ^_^
you might have to end up forgetting about what i have contributed ;)
well you clarified a lot of the misunderstandings i had with the other people i asked help from...which reminds me... i forgot to thank @experimentX and @dpaInc shoot :/ they helped A LOT
im just starting to read up on what a jacobian does and my "concepts" of stuff are trying to conform to something more mathical than intuitions :)
yw iggy...:)
im gonna pretend i knew what that was and say that the jacobian is awesome and very informative
Proud of that
Jacobian.... isn't he the guy with that Ladder?
haha funny! *straight face straight face straight face* Ladder, indeed. xD
i think you're referring to jonah @dpaInc
no.. Jacobian's Ladder... :)
oh...jonah's ladder is different huh
i guess. in mathematics, the jacobian is like a "stretch" factor and that's what you'd need to have a ladder stretch up to heaven as in jacob's ladder... it's supposed to be funny but i guess not...
i dont know who jacob is or who his ladder is :|
http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-02-multivariable-calculus-fall-2007/video-lectures/lecture-18-change-of-variables/ check this video ... (I thought Jacobian was always difficult ... LOL) and i didn't know there was a thing called Jacboan ladder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob's_Ladder ... LOL
