Simplify... (x^2-2x+4) + (2x+1) -(x^2+5)

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

It's the same question you just asked.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

combine like terms...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 would cancel out 2x would cancel out 5 would cancel out hence your answer is zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2- x^2+2x-2x+4+1-5=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so2x+4+1

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

nope.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cesar2462 no see carefully there are when you break off the brackets there is -2x and+2x which would cancel and 4 +1= 5 and when you break off the bracket in -(x^2+5) +5 becomes -5 so they cancel out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone I want to see the final answer

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

everything cancels out doesn't it? so what are you left with? ZILCH!
