I am sorry, I really don't have much idea about American history, and am not sure about any of the questions, except #7, #9 and Oktoberfest. 7. John F. Kennedy - he was 35th President of USA (1961-1963), and is famous for being the only president to have won the Pulitzer. He was also famous for his quotes during his ever-inspirational Presidential inaugural speech "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." He was also the President who laid stress on the Man-on-moon mission, and had promised to provide support to "land man on moon by the end of the decade". He was tragically assassinated in Dallas, Texas while travelling in car in his motorcade before the public. The people responsible are still a mystery. Martin Luther King Jr. - He was a famous American activist, and reformist, who played the key role in ending of racism in US, and promoted free and equal civil rights for everyone in the world. His "I have a speech dream" is extremely inspiring and famous. He was assassinated in April, 1968 in his hotel room. the answer to #9 is also MJK^. Robert Kennedy - He was a brother of JFK (above) and served as one of the attorneys under his government. He was Democratic presidential candidate in 1968, but was assassinated during his winning speech after the primary in California. This came barely two months after the tragic assassination of Martin L. King. They were 3 great men of the 1970's, and a;; three were tragically assassinated, bringing an era of iconic leadership to an end.

tnx!
Also I would like mention that Martin Luther King believed in the principles of non-violence. He was a believer of M.K.Gandhi's beliefs and principles, and when he visited India, he famously said something to the effect that he was not there as a tourist, but as a pilgrim to the holy land of M.K.Gandhi. MLK was awarded the Nobel in 1964. The Oktoberfest is a 16-day annual carnival held Sept-October in Germany (Munich, Bavaria) - world's largest actually.
