can someone check me if i got the correct answer
whats the question you think you got the right answer too?
ok so what did you pick?
1 and 5
remember what supplementary angles means...if you remember what that means, then look at the picture, you will be able to see what the answer is.
equal to 180
good...so when you look at 1 and 5, do they look like both of those angles can equal 180?
no
3 and 6
remember 180 is a straight line...so you should already be looking for angles that are on the same side of each other...because you know that both of them together will add up to 180
GOOD WORK!
ty
no worries
can you help me with one more
sure ill try...shoot
ok. same concept...your looking for angles on the same side of each other, so that they can both equal 180 degrees (a straight line)...out of the choices you have..which ones do you see that are on the same side of each other and could possibly add to 180?
when i say same side, i mean like right next to each other
2 and 4
GOOD!
ty very much
see..your starting to see what to look for...remember 180 degrees is a straight line..so you need two angles that are on the same side... no worries man, anytime ;-)
thank you for helping me understand this thanks :)
no worries man...contact me anytime when you have those questions...if im here ill get back to you immediately..if not, i will respond as soon as im back at my computer
i have another question if you dont mind
sure thing...whatcha got?
some the problem is cut off..do u have a better copy?
here is the other half
i want to say that AB is 8..but im not too sure...@Bitmaximus what do you think? (see attachment)
i believe that is 8 too
the reason why i think its 8 because AB and CD are both parallel lines, EA is 5.5 which is half of EC and CD is 16 so it makes sense that AB is 8.
the others are too high
thats true too @B.R.M, but look at in the math sense (actually i didnt think about what you just said...your right they are too high lol) AB and CD are both parallel lines, EA is 5.5 which is half of EC and CD is 16 so it makes sense that AB is 8...
kudos to you knowing that the other answers were too high..and one answer was too low ;-)
lol xD
:-D
how do the side measures of triangles work
?? i dont understand your question...what do you mean?
oh okay....humm
that one im not too sure...you might have to post that one as a separate question man...sorry about that
dont want to give you the wrong answer lol
its cool bro thanks
no worries
