OpenStudy (anonymous):

who wants to help me? por favor

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is the definition of tan(x) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amistre64 isnt it sin/cos?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it is, and we will also need to recall the definition of sec(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sec isnt that 1/cos or no?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes, sec(x) = 1/cos(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jim_thompson5910 i dont get what im suppose to do next

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it would help if i had a reliable internet connection :/ anyhoos correct. so lets see if we can rewrite this: \[tan=\frac{sin}{cos}=\frac{.6}{1};cos=1\] hmm, might be simpler just to draw triangle :/
