center(5:-3) radius=7 i guess
@angela210793 it is not recommended that you just give answers. In fact, it's against the CoC. It doesn't help anyone solve future problems. @Cshalvey and @Shadowfiend this is what we were talking about in feedback
Thank you for reminding me that Becca...i didn't know it....
Thank you for telling me that i meant*
Whoa you're SmartScore of 95 and you didn't know D: woww well, it's okay, just have a look at this and pass it along as you see other people just answering without explaining :) http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct
Becca...I DO KNOW that....but as u can read i wrote:''i guess'' which means I'm not sure if that is the right..and actually my explanation would sound stupid.....but ofc if SWAG would have asked for an explanation I'd have answered....he didn't so....
I was not referring to your math answer.
Let's not let temperatures run too hot. Angela, we've been taking the stance that asking for help without wanting explanations is not in the spirit of OpenStudy. So go ahead and start with an explanation instead of an answer. If the person in question only wants an answer, we would rather they not be a part of our community. Does that make sense? :)
yes it does ...but come on....i only answer like this only when i am tired...once in abt 50 q....
lols @swag after being in this debate for an hour or so... and then seeing this yeahhh lol http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4fba525be4b05565342f23e0
Pathetic
everyone chill
im chilled but this is like a day old n people are causing problems on my question.
I was only trying to help her swag -__-
you started it back up
^
the radius is half the diameter
if you didn't delete your comment, Turing would be able to see it
^
you can find the diameter by finding the longest line you can draw, horizontally or vertically. to find the radius you then divide by 2
looks to me like the diameter passes through the point x=5 how long is that line (from one end of the circle to the next?)
@SWAG you still with me ??
yes
so you understand what I'm asking you to do is just count the spaces to find the diameter how long is the diameter of the circle?
once sec im looking for the work i did on paper yesterday.
you can count with the file you attached, just in case you are having trouble finding the paper
the part i sometimes get stuck at is finding the longest line...sigh i feel like an idiot.
I told you that it runs through x=5 vertically count from one end of the circle to the other along the vertical line that passes through x=5, then compare that to any other vertical line you could draw in the figure you will quickly see that the line I prescribed is the longest possible
