Solve 2^(3m-4)>4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2^(3m-4)>4 2^(3m-4)>2^2 since that base is equal to the base then the power is equal to the power 3m-4>2 3m>2+4 3m>6 m>2

u got it :?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I think so.

If u need more explanation tell me :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im just a little confused on how you got 3m-4>2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look there is a rule sayin when 2 numbers having powers if the numbers are equal so the powers are equal and inverse so i changed 4 in to 2^2 in order to make the base = to the other base and i made a new equation using the power ,got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I get it now. :)

good .
