What are the zeros of the polynomial function: f(x) = (x – 3)(x + 1)(x + 5)? –3, 1, 5 –3, –1, –5 3, –1, –5 3, 1, 5

Parth (parthkohli):

The zeroes of a polynomial are the values of x that will bring the function's value down to 0.

Parth (parthkohli):

Can you tell me what are the such possible values?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You would have to get one of the parenthesis to equal zero so when you multiply them by zero the answer will be zero. So you set each parenthesis equal to zero to get the zeros as 3, -1, -5
