Simplify. http://media01.owotw.com/g_alg01_2011/10/578.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help please

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

First simplify the fraction in the numerator, then the one in the denominator. Then divide the resulting fractions. This site might help you understand how to do algebraic fractions: http://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/fractions-algebra.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for the dinominator you get 2/6th

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

The fraction in the numerator is:\[\frac{1}{4n}-\frac{1}{2}\]first simplify this. Use the link to the site I gave you to help you understand how to do this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so then you get three fifths acording to ur link

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or 8/4ths

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

no - you need to learn how to add and subtract fractions before you can attempt a question like this. I suggest you spend some time on that site and try out some of the exercises to become more familiar with this first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what u get for the numerator fr it isnt it

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

if you really want to learn how to do these you need to spend some time practicing adding/subtracting fractions first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for the numerator or the top hlf you get 1/4th

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after doing what you told me
