Visualize a Number chart. If you lay a cross on example the number 50. Assuming a 9 by 9 cross. The numbers to the left and right of 55 is the following, 50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59 Notice that the left and right numbers because they increase or decrease by 1 on each side equally, they cancel out and the average will always be 55. Same for the numbers above and below 55. In a number chart, going up or down the number chart meaning to move in values of 10 each time. For example, the numbers above and below 55 is as follows, 15,25,35,45,55,65,75,85,95 The average still come up to be 55. This is the answer, however it is also important to address the assumptions 1. the cross must be equal on each side. unlike the christian cross which is longer on 2ends than the other 2. 2. the number chart can be of any kind, does not necessarily have to be 10 numbers in each row. As long the number of numbers in each row is equal.

A,B and C are in a competition and if the person who is comming 1st for the week gets 8 points,2nd gets 2 points and third gets 1 point. A is on 12 points,B is on 34 and C is on 9 after 5 weeks. how much longer will it take for all their scores to equal the same thing? (A,B and C can come first,second or third)
