If f(x) = 5x – 4 and g(x) = 6x + 3, what is f(g(x))? how would I solve this. Can someone explain step by step so I can get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(g(x)) this literally means, put g into f. So put the 6x+3 into F instead of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(g(x))=5g(x)-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you just plug in g(x) and get f(g(x))=5(6x+3)-4. Then simplify.
