(Question) Explain whether or not you think it is possible that “the Way” in all of these religions shares a common origin and surprisingly common truth. (My draft response) I believe that all religions when speaking of "the way" is referring to the path to their lord, or God. They each have their own laws and rules that were set out by "God". Such as Christians with the Ten Commandments, Muslims with the Five Pillars. The common truth is that their goals are all to obey the laws of the written word set forth by prophets, apostles. Would you say this to be accurate?
You addressed what the prompt was asking for, which is very good, but I think you can explain a bit more. The prompt is asking for you to explain whether you think "The Way" in different religions originates from the same source, whether they share common truths, and why. Here's a drawing: It shows a source. A, B, & C share this source because they originate from it. |dw:1337986703461:dw| Here's another: It shows no source. A, B, & C don't originate from the same source. |dw:1337986809027:dw| You said you think "The Way" in different religions refers "to the path to their God." This is a great observation but do you think the belief that the path to God is "The Way" stemmed from a single source or do you think each religion had, on its own, believed that "The Way" was the path to God? And why do you think this? I hope that helps.
