Paraphrase this pls Nuclear energy becomes available when radioactive (unstable) atoms split apart. The natural or artificial breaking up of atoms into smaller pieces is called fission. The newly discovered ability to "split" the atom is what makes atoms into a source of energy--nuclear energy. Scientists discovered that uranium 235 can be caused to split apart when hit by a neutron traveling at a medium speed. The uranium atom divides and subsequently becomes two new elements, barium and krypton.
Do you need to understand why fission releases energy?
Atoms with large nuclei (like uranium 235) are unstable because the strong nuclear for acts over a short distance(I don't remember how short look it up if you are interested/ need it). So think about a large nuclei as a ball on top of a table. While on top of the table it has gravitational potential energy and if it falls off the table it "releases" this energy and becomes stable. The nuclei becoming smaller is releasing energy because energy was required to keep it at that size.
nuclear force**
Anyways I think this is how it works if I am remembering correctly. Not sure if this was the information you were looking for though.
thx alot
thx for helping no one helped me in writing
This isn't exactly paraphrasing what you typed though. Are you sure this is what you are looking for? I just thought it would help you understand what is there so you can paraphrase yourself. You should probably look up strong force, and maybe learn about the fundamental forces a little bit. Good luck dude.
i just dont know how to parafraze
ohic well paraphrasing means to say the same thing but in a different way. Like you convey the same message but using different words know what I mean? haha =)
ow ok i knew it was some thing like that
Do you see my example?
ya
haha =). Alright the best advice I could give you for paraphrasing anything is to learn as much as you can about the topic. Then you will feel totally comfortable talking about what is being said. I suggest going to wikipedia and reading about fission, uranium 235, and then anytime you see something you don't understand click on it(if it is in blue) and do your best to understand it then go back to the original wikipedia page. You may feel like you are making little progress at first, but believe me if you are determined it pays off. You can learn a lot this way. Keep reading over and over then go to sites other then wikipedia on the same topic eventually reading the same information phrased in different ways will make it a lot easier for you to do it yourself.
ok wow i just noticed we have the same lvl 58
lol and?
nothing just saying i just noticed that
lol when did you start open study
Hmm a few weeks ago I think maybe longer does it say somewhere?
It says I have 13 days studied?
i started open study about a month ago and you on the same lvl as me
haha well it gets harder to level as you go I think.
Anyway nice meeting you I need to sleep good luck with your thing =).
