sam (.sam.):

use this and you can do all of it \[\Huge a=b^c \leftarrow \rightarrow log_ba=c\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and this is what. this letters anf big letters/small letters are puzzling

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol I'll do the ones I know okay 3^3=27 bc 3x3=9x3=27 8^0=1 bc in this type of problem ^0=1 ^1=2 etc

sam (.sam.):

5) \[log_50.2=-1\] Try do 6 and 7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea how you even got 5.

sam (.sam.):

use the formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how i dont understand it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

holly hell im still confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is rediculous

sam (.sam.):

that's the rules, otherwise you can't do anything , you have to memorize it

sam (.sam.):

try this different video, this one is more related http://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/logarithms/v/introduction-to-logarithms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok that one helped more. so did you use \[\log_{3} 27=3 \] to get #5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks sam. its 3:16 AM. and my problem was i was looking at it as if it went left to right. not up and down. once i saw it went up and down it got a lot easier

sam (.sam.):

No ,you looked at the table incorrectly , lol, look at column by column , they're saying that "change the exponents to logarithms"
