Look at the figure. Under what conditions will the triangle formed by the three squares be a right triangle? Answer Area of Square 2 is equal to the sum of the area of Square 1 and area of Square 3. Area of Square 3 is equal to the sum of the area of Square 1 and area of Square 2. Perimeter of Square 2 is equal to the sum of the perimeter of Square 1 and Square 3. Perimeter of Square 3 is equal to the sum of the perimeter of Square 1 and Square 2.

Lets assume that the sides of square 1 be a, sides of square 2 be b and sides of square 3 be c. Based on the figure given, we need to prove that:\[c^2=a^2 + b^2\] to show that the triangle formed is right triangle(Pythagoras' theorem). So definitely we can see that the answer would be Area of square3 = Area of square1 + area of square2.

got it sorry took me a lil while i had to draw what you were saying out lol but thank-you! =)

"i had to draw.." That is a good way to figure things out. Very Good!

haha it's okay.:) sometimes you will need to draw things out to make things clearer, especially questions involving trigonometry and also mechanics(projectile motion, circular motion etc.)

thank-you haha im a visual learner so i kinda have to and yeah =) aha
