9. The expression can be rewritten as\[\frac{12x}{x^2+6x+9} \times \frac{x^2-9}{4x^2}\] we have to factor the denominator of the first term. and the numerator of the 2nd term.\[x^2+6x+9=(x+a)(x+b)\]where a and b are two integers where a + b = 6 and ab = 9. We can also factor \[x^2-9\]by remembering that when you have an expression\[x^2-c^2=(a+c)(a-c)\]
