Find the number of sides of a regular polygon if one interior angle is 60 degrees. 3 4 5 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let the number of sides be n 180(n-2)=(n)60 solve for n.

Parth (parthkohli):

As I said, the formula to find one interior angle is: $$\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow {180n - 360 \over n} }$$ Here, one interior angle is 60 degrees. $$\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow {180n - 360 \over n} = 60 }$$ $$\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow 60n = 180n - 360 }$$ $$\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow 0 = 120n - 360 }$$ $$\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow 360 = 120n }$$ $$\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow n = 3 }$$

again the same formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i think im getting there

Parth (parthkohli):

Yep :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what about my next ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Howr u doing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
