A patient has enough plaque buildup in the left pulmonary artery to restrict much of the blood flow through this artery. What would be the most likely effect of this blockage? The left atrium and ventricle would receive less blood flow being pumped to the rest of the body. The left lung could be damaged by reduced blood flow, so oxygen needs would rely on the right lung. The right atrium and ventricle could be damaged because of a reduced flow of blood supply. The right lung would receive less blood flow being sent back to the heart and the body.

This would lead to the pulmonary artery to be constricted hindering normal blood flow and hence, slowing down the rate of blood flow. As a result less blood that the usual amount during a particular period of time will go to the lung and consequently less oxygenated blood will move back to the heart through the pulmonary veins. So, I think that it's the last option: the right lung would receive less blood flow being sent back to the heart and the body (shouldn't it be from the body?)
