OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

what does \[y' = x \text{exp}(y-x^2)\] mean??

OpenStudy (turingtest):

just shorthand for\[\large y'=xe^{y-x^2}\]

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

oh i see thanks

OpenStudy (turingtest):

welcome again :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

though i dont know how writing three letters instead of one is shorthand =_=

OpenStudy (turingtest):

when the exponent is something like a limit, with a fraction, with a logarithm it's a lot more practical. In this case you are right, it's pretty trivial.
