(2x-3)(3x-2) plz help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know the formula for multiplying two of polynomials together?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No I don't sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take the first value in the first bracket and multiply it by the first and second value in the second bracket ie 2x*3x + 2x*-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take the second number in the first bracket and multiply it by the numbers in the second bracket

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in other words, multiply all the numbers together. Then add the results.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so would it be 6x^2+6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is the first part, yes, now do the second part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be x^2 at the end?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand, but I suspect not, remember that you are multiplying -3 by the two values in the right polynoinal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Idk wat the answer is can u plz help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, write out the four values that you got for multiplying the two polynominals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I got 6x^2+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's just the first part, you also need to multiply -3*3x and -3*-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooo ok wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok I got 6x^2-13x^2+6 am I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Am I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, sorry for the delay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it's ok
