What is NOT a characteristic of the pseudopods? A. Contractile vacuole B. Foot-like appendage C. Jelly-like body D. Surface covered with cilia I know that pseodopods have a foot-like appendage that is used for locomotion, and they look like jelly bodies but i am not sure.

It's D. Surface covered with cilia. I hope this helps<3

Thank you ShotGunGirl. That did help! :)

You're so very welcome lulu456.

That is a very strange question. Pseudopods aren't a class of organisms: they're just the false feet that amoebas (and some other cells) have. Sure, amoebas often have contractile vacuoles (at least if they live in fresh water), and I suppose the contractile vacuoles may at some point end up in a pseudopod just because bits and pieces float around inside them, but I certainly wouldn't call a contractile vacuole a characteristic of a pseudopod. And there are amoeboid organisms that have pseudopods but live in salt water so they don't need contractile vacuoles. I don't feel comfortable describing pseudopods as having a "jelly-like body" either. They're feet, not bodies!
