What type of molecule serves the following functions in the body: maintaining brain health, controlling inflammation, and building fat molecules? -Fatty acids. -Glycerol. -Glycogen. -Phospholipid.
The answer is actually phospholipids. Phospholipids are made of the combination of lipids (fats) and the mineral phosphorus. They are healthy for the brain (because the brian needs certain amounts of phosphorus to function), they control inflammation when they're oxidized, and they are responsible for building fat molecules such as omega 3's. Hope this helped! :)
Phospholipids is the wrong answer. I put this on my test and it was wrong.
@Turner Are you positive? I am taking AP Biology, and we went over this concept a LOT. I had a question similar to this, and I got it correct. In any case, SaraPotterHead gave me a medal for this question 6 months ago. And I believe she got it right! I am sorry if you got this wrong, but maybe you didn't have the same question? Sometimes questions LOOK similar , but they're not the same. :)
Was it right? @tafkas77
