OpenStudy (mathmagician):

can formula P(n)=n^2-81n+1681be used for generating only prime numbers P with all positive integers n? Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, as if u put n=41, the whole expression will be divisible by 41 and will not be a prime number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, in this case, if u put n=41, the result will come out 41. so, put any multiple of 41 other than 41 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Arnab09 how you find 41?

OpenStudy (mathmagician):

1681 is 41^2 you can also use 9 in this case

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1681 is 41^2 so, if n is a multiple of 41, the whole expression becomes a multiple of 41

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how 9? @mathmagician ?

OpenStudy (mathmagician):

sorry, 81

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep..
