To find the third side AB, use the COS RULE. \[cosC = \frac {a^2 + b^2 - c^2} {2ab}\] a, b, and c are length of sides BC, AC and AB respectively.

you have a = 3.7, b=2.5 and <C=39.4 degrees. plug in and find 'c', aka AB. (use calculator for the cosine)

Umm.. seems like an error. Use your calculator. You should probably get something like 5.6 .. can you upload your calculation or use the equation editor or the drawing option so that we can see where you went wrong?
