2(sqrt(17^2-15^)2)+17+(sqrt(15^2+8^2))

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

if a perpendicular from a vertex divides the base in 2 equal parts then other 2 sides than base will also be equal:) & now use Pythagoras theorem to find base & add 3sides get the answer^_^

This is an isosceles triangle. Use Pythagorean Theorem to find the third side on the bottom. c^2 = a^2 + b^2 289 = 225 + b^2 64 = b^2 b = 8 Then, because the bottom is split into two, double 8 to get the entire bottom side. Then add all the sides up. 17 + 17 + 16 = 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2(sqrt(64))+17+17 2(8)+34 16+34 50
