what the diffrent between voltage source and current source

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

Hi aiad :) Are you joking. lol

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

Of course voltage source provides constant voltage, varying current while current source provides constant current, varying voltage. Is this enough ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can know from the name it self "source" which is related with provision of the voltage or current

OpenStudy (anonymous):

voltage source has infinite internal resistance and does not vary its voltage according to the current through it.i.e. it can supply infinite energy. Current source has zero internal resistance and does not vary its current value due to the voltage across it.i.e. it can supply infinite energy.

OpenStudy (nick67):

Well, really voltage sources have very low internal resistance; if they are ideal they have zero internal resistance and that is the reason why they can supply as much current as you want without varying the voltage level at the output. Current sources, instead, have great internal resistance that grows up to infinite if they are ideal|dw:1339530631828:dw||dw:1339530828043:dw|
