I need help finding a situational irony and verbal irony in romeo and juliet act 5
well iwhat irony means it is easy when juliet pretends to be dead she expects to wake and be with romeo ( sry if this is viseversa)
is this a situational or dramatic then?
i think it's situational right
yes
You should study Romeo and Juliet because it is pretty interesting once you can get past the difficult language. Theres more but i will just give you these. Good luck! Situational irony: When Romeo's attempt to establish peace between Mercutio and Tybalt leads to Mercutio's death and an escalation of the family war. and Verbal irony: After Romeo kills Tybalt and is banished and Juliet tells her mother how she wishes she could go to Romeo that evening. Her mom thinks Juliet wants to find Romeo and kill him, but really Juliet just wants to go be with her husband.
We are studying it now. We are supposed to find ironies for each act. But I got stuck at the last act
Ok i read your question wrong, hold on.
are you still here?
i am thx
Yes, but all i could find was stuff about dramatic irony, and i dont remember any situational or verbal irony in act 5.
lol sry by then
its ok then
