how did you find the area for both the girls, i know the whole is 16, but how did you divide it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It should be 1/4 of the area. That 1/4 is the sum of the part of meg and the part of the other girl. The area of one of the girl is just a triangle and the area of the other girl the 1/4 area minus the triangle area.
