Suppose you ca drive a car m miles on g gallons of gasoline.The number of miles you can drive in your car is equal to 30times the numberof gallonsof gasoline used.which direct variation equation represents this situation?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i believe direct variation follows the form of: y = kx

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since miles depends on gallons i would say that y = miles in this case and the rest of it falls into place

thanks

OpenStudy (mertsj):

m=30g

thanks i have it now
