Simplify i 30

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow (i^2)^{15} }\) \( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow (-1)^{15} }\)

-1

A trick to help you remember is that anything to the first power is just itself. Anything to the 0th power is 1, and i squared is -1 by definition. So i^3 is just i^2*i which is just -i. To find out what it is in these lower terms, just divide the exponent by 4 and the remainder is the equivalent power, since every 4 it becomes the same!
