Plz find out:)

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

Given: -\[\color{red}{x+y=3.}\] & \[\color{red}{xy=2.}\] Then find: -\[\color{blue}{x^3-y^3=?}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve for \(x\) and \(y\).

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

But isn't there a short method as we can write \[\color{green}{x^3-y^3=(x-y)[(x+y)^2-3xy]}\]But I m not getting value of "x-y". How to get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-y)^2=(x+y)^2_4xy

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

k! thanx @sritama

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why not just use \(y=3-x\) in the \((x-y)\) part?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevermind, actually.

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

k! thanx a lot to both I gt it:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welcome :)
